Mountain trekking is fun but dangerous. When we go trekking, we risk the chance of increasing the possibility of harm on our bodily systems. The most common one feared are those threats coming from living organisms like snakes, poisonous plants and other disease-carrying insects. Snake fangs can penetrate ordinary rubber shoes and once this happened, the venom can spread in an instant. Some poisonous mushrooms release extremely toxic substances which can paralyze the individual second after contact. While both ordinary rubber shoes and bunny boots can prevent skin contact with a dangerous mushroom, only bunny boots can block a snake attack. Rubber shoes which are made from latex, clothes, and other weak materials are too soft and thus, the material allows the entry of snake’s fangs.
Sharp rocks, spikes from plants, and slippery rocks can be very harmful and wearing bunny boots can reduce the risk of gaining injuries resulting from contact with those items. Sharp rocks, for example, can penetrate the skin and expose the undefended tissues to harmful pathogens which are numerous in the rainforest and the mountains. Spikes from plants can also pierce the skin, and expose the tissues to the elements. Our bunny boots are carefully designed to at least reduce the slippery effects from rocks. Accidents resulting from contact with slippery forest floor material cause thousands of injuries and even deaths in our national parks and nature reserves every year. Such accidents could have been prevented, if the persons are responsible enough to make sure that they are safe or buying the right items like ropes, bunny boots, and the first-aid kits.
